Advanced Oleochemical Production Process
The oleochemical manufacturing process begins with the hydrolysis of natural oils and fats, where triglycerides react with water to produce fatty acids and crude glycerine. These products are then refined using advanced purification and distillation technologies to achieve the desired purity and quality.
Further processing includes fractionation to separate fatty acids based on carbon chain length and crystallization to distinguish saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. Fatty acids can also react with methanol to produce Fatty Acid Methyl Esters (FAME), which are subsequently converted into fatty alcohols through hydrogenation for use in various industrial applications.
