At Mehar Engineering, we provide advanced Organic Impurities Inactivation Systems designed to improve the safety and quality of oilseeds, grains, and other agricultural materials before further processing. Our technology effectively eliminates harmful microorganisms, insects, and quarantine pests while protecting the quality of the raw material.
The system uses hot saturated steam combined with indirect heating to raise the material temperature to 80°C–100°C while maintaining high humidity levels of 95% or more. The material is held under these controlled conditions for 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the processing requirements.
As the steam condenses, it releases latent heat that penetrates the material quickly and evenly. This ensures uniform heating throughout the product, allowing harmful organisms and contaminants to be effectively neutralized without damaging the material.
After the inactivation process, the material is carefully dried and cooled, making it ready for the next stage of production while preserving its quality and processing performance.
